Autoblow Warranty and Returns: Your EU Rights Explained

By Autoblow EU· Last updated 15 de junho de 2026

When you buy an Autoblow from autoblow.shop you are covered by the 2-year EU statutory warranty on manufacturing defects, motor faults, charging problems, and firmware issues. Returns and warranty claims are handled entirely within Europe, by a team that speaks your language. You never ship anything back to the United States.

Autoblow warranty: what the 2-year EU coverage means for you

EU consumer law gives you a minimum of two years of statutory warranty on any physical product sold by a business to a consumer. autoblow.shop is an EU-based seller, so that guarantee applies in full to every Autoblow AI Ultra and VacuGlide 2 we ship.

If your device stops working because of a manufacturing defect within two years of delivery, we fix it or replace it. That is a legal obligation under EU Directive 2019/771, not a goodwill gesture we can withdraw at will.

What the statutory warranty covers:
- Motor faults and mechanical failures
- Charging port defects and battery failures (where the battery does not hold a reasonable charge)
- Electronic faults and firmware crashes that prevent the device from operating
- Physical defects that were present at the time of delivery (dents, cracks, non-functional buttons)

The warranty runs from the date of delivery, not the date you first use the device. Keep your order confirmation email, it is your proof of purchase and the easiest way to establish the delivery date.

What the warranty does not cover

The statutory warranty covers manufacturing defects, not damage caused by use. This is standard across EU consumer law and applies to every seller, not just us.

Not covered:
- Physical damage from dropping, crushing, or exposure to water (neither machine is waterproof)
- Damage from using non-recommended lubricants, especially oil-based or silicone-based products in combination with silicone sleeves
- Normal wear on consumable parts, principally sleeves, which are designed to be replaced over time
- Faults caused by attempting to repair or modify the device yourself
- Issues arising from use outside the device's operating parameters (for example, running the motor continuously for hours)

If your device has an issue and you are not sure whether it is covered, contact us before assuming it is not. A motor that fails after 14 months of normal use is almost certainly a manufacturing defect, even if it is not obvious. Our support team will assess it.

A note on sleeves: Sleeves are consumable accessories. They are not covered by the hardware warranty, but they are inexpensive to replace, and we stock the full range. See the sleeve guide for the options.

EU consumer rights: what they actually mean in practice

Beyond the 2-year warranty, EU residents have additional consumer rights that are worth understanding.

14-day right of withdrawal. Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU) you have 14 calendar days from receiving your order to return it, no reason needed. The product must be in its original, unused, sealed condition.

A specific note here: intimate products that have been opened are typically excluded from the 14-day return right under Article 16(e) of the Directive, which covers sealed goods that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons once opened. This is standard across EU e-commerce. If you are unsure about a product before buying, contact us first, because we cannot accept an opened return for hygiene reasons.

Burden of proof reversal. In the first year after delivery, if a defect appears, it is presumed to have existed at the time of sale, and we have to prove it did not. You do not need to prove the fault was pre-existing. From year one to two, the burden shifts to you, but a clearly mechanical failure is still straightforward to make a claim for.

Remedies available to you:
1. Repair
2. Replacement
3. Price reduction (if repair or replacement is not possible)
4. Full refund (as a last resort)

In practice, for a device like the Autoblow, we almost always go straight to replacement rather than repair, because it is faster and simpler for you.

How to start a warranty claim or return

The process is deliberately simple. You do not fill in complicated forms or navigate an overseas website.

Step 1: Contact us. Go to the contact page and send a message describing the issue. Include:
- Your order number (starts with AB- for Autoblow orders)
- A description of the fault or the reason for the return
- How long you have had the device
- A photo or video of the fault if it is visible

Step 2: We assess. Our EU support team responds within one business day. For warranty claims, we may ask a few follow-up questions or ask you to run through a basic diagnostic. This is to confirm the fault and determine the fastest resolution.

Step 3: Resolution. Depending on the fault and how long you have had the device:
- For warranty faults: we send a replacement or arrange a repair, including the return shipping label
- For returns within the 14-day window: we send you a return label and process the refund once we receive the item

You never pay for return shipping on a warranty claim. If the fault is ours, the logistics are ours.

You never send anything to the United States. Everything is handled from within the EU. That is a deliberate part of how we operate as an EU-based seller.

Why buying from autoblow.shop matters for your warranty

Where you buy from determines the legal protection you get. That is worth spelling out.

If you buy an Autoblow directly from the US manufacturer's website and something goes wrong, you are dealing with a US-based seller. EU consumer law does not apply to that transaction in the same way. A warranty claim or return means shipping to the United States at your expense, clearing customs, and dealing with a company outside your legal jurisdiction.

Buying from autoblow.shop means buying from an EU-registered seller:

  • 2-year statutory warranty (a legal obligation, not a policy)
  • 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law
  • Returns and replacements handled in Europe, no transatlantic shipping
  • Support in your language, from within your time zone
  • Discreet delivery in a plain, unbranded box; neutral name on your bank statement

The product, firmware, and features are identical. What you get differently is the legal framework and a much simpler path if something goes wrong.

The full case for buying locally is in our EU buying guide.

Refunds: what to expect and how long they take

Once a return or warranty replacement is agreed and we have received the device back (if return is required), refunds are processed to the original payment method.

Typical timeline:

StageTime
You contact us and we confirm the returnSame or next business day
You ship the item back (if required)Depends on carrier, typically 2-5 days
We receive and inspect the item1-2 business days
Refund processed to your payment method1-2 business days
Refund appears on your statement3-7 business days (bank-dependent)

For warranty replacements where we are sending a new unit rather than accepting a return, we often dispatch the replacement before receiving the faulty unit back, where the fault description and any photos make it clear what happened. We do this because waiting for the faulty device to arrive before shipping the replacement adds unnecessary delays.

If your refund is taking longer than expected, check the timeline above and then contact us. Payment processing delays beyond 7 business days are sometimes on the bank side rather than ours, but we can issue a confirmation of the refund to help you chase it.

Common questions answered before you contact us

A few questions that come up regularly.

I lost my order confirmation. Can I still make a warranty claim?
Yes. We can look up your order from your email address or name. The confirmation email is the fastest proof of purchase, but it is not the only one.

My device is 18 months old. Is it still covered?
Yes. The 2-year statutory warranty runs to the full 24 months. The burden of proof shifts after month 12, but a clear mechanical fault is still a straightforward warranty claim at month 18.

Can I send my device to the manufacturer in the US for repair instead?
You can, but there is genuinely no reason to. We handle warranty and repair from within the EU. Sending to the US means customs paperwork, transatlantic shipping costs, and a foreign time zone. We are here so that is not your problem.

What if I bought the device as a gift and it is faulty?
Gift recipients have the same rights. We need proof of purchase (the original order number) and contact details for whoever will handle the claim.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the Autoblow warranty?+

Two years from the date of delivery, as required by EU consumer law (Directive 2019/771). The warranty covers manufacturing defects including motor faults, charging problems, electronic failures, and firmware issues. It does not cover damage caused by dropping, water exposure, or use of non-recommended lubricants.

How do EU consumer rights apply to my Autoblow purchase?+

When you buy from autoblow.shop you are buying from an EU-registered seller, so EU consumer law applies in full. This includes the 2-year statutory warranty and the 14-day right of withdrawal. Both rights are legal obligations, not optional policies. A purchase from the US manufacturer's website does not carry the same EU protections.

Do I have to ship my broken Autoblow back to the US?+

No. autoblow.shop is an EU-based seller. All warranty claims and returns are handled from within Europe. You send your device to an EU returns address (if return is needed at all), and replacements ship from within Europe. Transatlantic returns are not part of our process.

What does the Autoblow warranty actually cover?+

Motor faults, charging port defects, battery failures, electronic faults, firmware crashes, and physical defects that were present at delivery. It does not cover damage from dropping, water, oil-based lubricants, self-repair attempts, or normal wear on consumable parts like sleeves.

Can I return my Autoblow if I change my mind?+

Yes, within 14 calendar days of delivery, under the EU right of withdrawal, provided the product is unused and in its original sealed packaging. Once an intimate product has been opened, it cannot be returned for hygiene reasons under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(e). If you are unsure about a product before buying, contact us first.

How do I start a warranty claim or return?+

Contact us via the contact page with your order number, a description of the fault or reason for return, and a photo or video of the fault if visible. We respond within one business day. For warranty faults, we may ask a few diagnostic questions and then send a replacement or arrange a repair, covering all return shipping costs.

How long does a refund take after I return my Autoblow?+

Once we receive and inspect the returned device, we process the refund within 1-2 business days. The refund then appears on your payment method within 3-7 business days, depending on your bank. For warranty replacements where the fault is clear from photos, we often ship the replacement before receiving the faulty unit back.

My Autoblow broke after 18 months. Is it still under warranty?+

Yes. The 2-year statutory warranty runs to the full 24 months from delivery. After the first year the burden of proof shifts slightly, meaning you may need to provide more information about the fault, but a clear mechanical failure like a motor fault or charging failure is still a straightforward warranty claim. Contact us with your order number and a description of what happened.
